The 10th standard ICSE results for this year were declared at 3 pm today. Students could check their results on the official site by ICSE www.cisce.org/results. These exams are conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE )  Students gave these examinations from March 3  to March 29, are now nervously awaiting to see  their to see their hard work finally pay off.

Candidates could check their grades at the official website from 3 PM onwards. Usually, like the other years, we also assume the results to be declared around half an hour to 15 minutes earlier. Hence we advise the students to keep their eye out for their result earlier than the stipulated time.  In order to see the scores, one must insert his/ her roll number or registration number. The results can also be accessed via SMS. For doing so, the candidates are required to type ICSE 1234567 and their unique ID and send it to 09248082883. Besides, the results can be availed via email IDs.

Students are required to clear at least six subjects out of which English ( Literature and Language), any second language, History and Civics, and Geography  are compulsory subjects. Other three optional subjects would be according to the student’s choice.

Last year that is in 2013,  98.20 percent students had qualified the examination. The best pass percentage was achieved by the southern region (99.66 per cent), followed by the Western region (99.46 per cent), Eastern region (98.02 per cent) and Northern region (97.30 per cent).
