India has reportedly launched a strong diplomatic protest against the adjournments of the ongoing trails in Pakistan of those who were accused in the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. To complain against the delays, the Foreign Ministry has summoned the Pakistani Deputy High Commissioner from Delhi.

A regular briefing from Pakistani authorities on the progress of the investigations has also been demanded by the government. It is reported that during the meetings with the Pakistan authorities, Indian officials have pressed on the high importance of the case  to bring justice all those responsible in Pakistan or Mumbai terror attack in 2008.

10 terrorists from Pakistan attacked different parts of Mumbai in which 166 people were killed and 300 injured. The operations to bring the situation under control took about 70 hours. The only terrorist, Ajmal Kasab who was caught alive was hanged to death in Pune in 2012.

Although seven people including Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, a top commander of the terror group were arrested for the attack, there was no further progress in the case.
