New Delhi, Mar 26: The Congress party will release its manifesto on Wednesday for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Party President Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will be present at the party office here to release the manifesto.
The Congress, in its manifesto, is expected to spell out strong measures to tackle the corruption.
The poll manifesto will reinforce its commitment to welfare measures reflecting the party’s thrust on inclusive development.
The party expected to highlight its achievements in bringing in rights-based legislation like Right To Information, MGNREGA and Food Security.
The manifesto is also expected to talk about women’s empowerment, including reservation for them in the legislative bodies.
