Katrina hates bikinis, Akshay hates The Hangover

No kissing either

For those fantasising about a Katrina Kaif doing a Kareena Kapoor and prancing about in skimpy clothes, there's bad news - Katrina has stated that she would never appear in a bikini or do any kissing scenes.

Media reports suggested that Katrina would wear a bikini in the sequel to Dostana, like Priyanka did in the original film. However Katrina has rubbished any such reports. She even admitted that she is not comfortable doing such scenes. "I don’t deny I’ve done scenes in the past where I did things that I wasn’t comfortable with. But now I won’t. I just don’t feel comfortable doing kissing scenes, or for that matter, wearing a bikini on screen." Katrina said. "Call me a prude or conservative. I just don’t feel kissing scenes jell well with our audiences. So no kissing scenes for me." she added.

A close friend of teh actress said, "Katrina has said no to kissing scenes in all her films barring New York. And believe me, the directors are very keen to see her kiss her co-stars. Katrina cleverly keeps dodging all the so-called must-kiss scenes. She is a very conservative girl at heart. In fact, when reports claimed that she was going to wear a bikini in Dostana 2, a la Priyanka Chopra in the first Dostana, Katrina protested violently and made it clear to producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukhani: no exposure, no kissing."

On the other side Akshay Kumar has revealed his hate for a desi remake of 'The Hangover'. The reason? Akki apparently hates drinking and loitering about. Earlier Akshay was keen on doing the remake with Feroz Nadiawala as the producer, but has officially dropped out of the project. Reportedly, Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan have been roped in to replace Akshay. Anees Bazmee will remain as the director, he has said that while the remake borrows the concept of the film, the Bollywood version would be noticeably different. We shall see.
