Why did Shahrukh turn down Dostana 2?

Because he is too 'Manly'

As you already know, Shahrukh Khan was approached to star in Tarun Mansukhani's sequel to Dostana, but the actor had turned down the offer citing scheduling conflicts.

Now new reports suggest quite the opposite. Shahrukh did have time to shoot for Dostana 2, but was not interested in the project because of the 'gay' issue in it. Apprently Shahrukh did not sign on for the project because he is too 'manly' and wants to keep his 'manliness' intact. His pal Karan Johar tried hard to persuade him to join the film but Shahrukh would not budge.

Now is this Shahrukh's new way to take shots at fellow actors? By saying he is too manly and that he wants to preserve his manliness, does he intend to point out that Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham are sissies? We know he's pulled a similar stunt before when he claimed that that his one wish in life is to become a successful and well respected porn star. That statement was intended for Sylvester Stallone.

Incidentally, Saif Ali Khan had also refused to star in Dostana 2. No reports on why he had turned down the offer. In any case here is the new song 'Sajdaa' from SRK's manly film 'My Name is Khan'.
