Shimla, Sep 16 (PTI) The Himachal Pradesh government today shifted 18 state service officers in a significant reshuffle ahead of the assembly elections.

The transferred Himachal Administrative Service (HAS) officials include the registrar of the Himachal Pradesh University.

Rupali Thakur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Hamirpur has been posted as Director, Language, Art and Culture while Rima Kashyap, Member Secretary, Mahila Ayog would be the Registrar, State Administrative Tribunal, officials said in a statement.

Rattan Gautam District Tourism Officer, Kullu has been posted as Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Hamirpur.

Pankaj Lalit, Registrar of Himachal Pradesh University will be the ADM (Shimla) in place of Sunil Sharma, who has been posted as Secretary, State Election Commission.

Rohit Rathore, Sub Divisional Officer (SDO), Kullu would be Resident Commissioner, Pangi, Shiv Krishan, SDO (Bhoranj) has been shifted as SDO, Salooni in Chambadistrict while Sanjay Kumar Dhiman, Assistant Commissioner to Divisional Commissioner, Kangra would takeover as Assistant Commissioner to DC, Chamba.

Dile Ram, SDO (Civil) Bangana has been posted as SDO (Civil) Haroli (Una), while Sunny Sharma, under transfer as Regional Transport Officer, Hamirpur has been posted as SDO (Civil) Kullu.

Ramya Chauhan, Assistant Commissioner to DC, Chamba has been posted as District Tourism Development Officer, Chamba, Rajneesh Kumar, SDO (civil), Sangrah has been posted as Assistant Settlement Officer, Solan in place of Narinder Kumar, who goes as SDO (Civil), Bhoranj.

Vishal Sharma, SDO (Civil) Haroli has been posted as SDO (Civil), Balh in place of Dr Sanjeev Kumar Dhiman, who goes as SDO (Civil) Bangana (Una) while Anil Kumar Bharadwaj, SDO (Civil) Salooni would be Assistant Commissioner to Divisional Commissioner, Kangra at Dharamsala.

Ashwani Raj Shah, Assistant Settlement officer, Kangra would be Secretary Board of School Education while Akshay Sood would replace him as Assistant Settlement officer, the statement added.

Assembly elections in the state are expected to be held at the end of this year.
