New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Air purifier maker Blueair today said it is advocating people on clean air and lung health by displaying its range of air purifiers on the occasion of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) day.

The company will be distributing 10,000 Blueair N95 anti-pollution masks during this event.

“Outdoor pollution that sweeps in along with the existing indoor pollutants can be up to 5 times more polluted. Air purifiers are one of the effective solutions to keep indoor air healthy,” Blueair India Country Head Arvind Chabra said.

Himanshu Garg, Director of Pulmonology at Artemis Hospital said: “We need to improve access for these patients to seek help early to decrease their morbidity. Strong measures need to be taken to decrease the smoking rates and to control pollution levels in order to deal with this epidemic.” *******************

Josh Talks raises funds from angel investors * Media platform Josh Talks has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from prominent angel investors including HCL VP, Head of Corporate Marketing, Apurva Chamaria and Hero Corporation Head Strategy and Finance Rohit Chanana.

Other investors include Freshworks Founder Girish Mathrubootham, the company said in a release.

“The last two years have been a proof of concept for us and the money we have raised now is to scale our content and take it to larger audiences and people all across India,” Josh Talks co-founder Shobhit Banga and Supriya Paul said.


Crystal Crop Protection brings TV commercial on Abacin * Agrochemicals firm Crystal Crop Protection today said it has come up with a TV commercial on its new generation miticide Abacin, introduced in the market recently.

“Abacin’s benefit is that it is naturally-derived, (from Bacteria Streptomyces avermitilis), broad-spectrum and environmentally-safe,” the company statement said.
