New Delhi, May 20 (PTI) Barring a rise in cloves prices on mild demand, other spices ruled flat at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today.
Traders said scattered demand from retailers helped cloves to trade higher.
Cloves inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 565-685 per kg.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs): Ajwain (per kg) 120-170, black pepper (per kg) 560-740, betel-nut (kg) 290-310, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 800-820 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 850-1,070.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 1,100-1,200, cardamom (colour robin) 905-925, cardamom bold 935-955, cardamom extra (bold) 1,055-1,075 and cloves 565-685. (MORE)
