New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) A cold and windy day prevailed in

the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at

8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.

The maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 23.7

degrees Celsius, four notches above normal, a Meteorological

Department official said.

Relative humidity oscillated between 92 and 42 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast clear skies for tomorrow with

shallow to moderate fog in the morning.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to

hover around 24 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius

respectively,” the MeT department said.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 22.7

degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 8 degrees

Celsius.
