New Delhi, Oct 12 (PTI) Crude palm oil prices advanced by 0.13 per cent to Rs 535.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants engaged in building up positions amid rising demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in November traded higher by 70 paise, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 535.70 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 23 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in October edged up by 50 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 540 per 10 kg in 49 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders on the back of pick-up in demand in the physical market against tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions mainly kept crude palm oil prices up at futures trade.
