Patna, Jun 18 (PTI) A dry weather condition prevailed in

Bihar today with Gaya sizzling at 41.7 degree Celsius, a

MET bulletin said.

The weather remained mainly dry in the state with forecast

of cloudy sky in the next 24 to 48 hours, it said.

There may be possibility of rain or thundershower in

Purnea and Bhagalpur region, the bulletin said.

Meanwhile, Gaya remained the hottest place in the state

recording a maximum temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius

followed by 40.2 degrees Celsius in Patna and 40 degrees

Celsius in Bhagalpur and 37.7 degrees Celsius in Purnea. PTI
