Mumbai, Mar 30 (PTI) Groundnut oil prices declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today, following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
While refined palmolein prices recovered owing to renewed offtake from retailers.
In the non-edible segment, castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial gained due to fresh demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Linseed prices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil eased by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 840 from its Wednesday’s closing level of Rs 845, however, refined palmolein rose by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 724 from Rs 720.
Moving to non-edible section, castor seed bold climbed by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,190 compared to Rs 4,175 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 868 as against Rs 865 previously.
Linseed oil ruled stable at Rs 800 per kg.
