New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Guar seed prices rose by Rs 10.50 to Rs 4,126.50 per quintal in futures trade today as participants built up fresh positions amid a firm trend at the spot markets.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed for delivery in May moved up by Rs 10.50, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 4,126.50 per quintal, with a business turnover of 1,30,250 open lots.

Also, the delivery for April was marked higher by Rs 9.50, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 4,130 per quintal, in an open interest of 3,880 lots.
