New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended steady in the national capital today following scattered demand amid restricted supplies.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled quiet on little doing.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against limited buying interest kept prices unaltered.

Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 2,600-2,700, pedi Rs 2,500-2,600, dhayya Rs 2,700-2,800 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,000-2,100, chakku Rs 2,200-2,400, khurpa Rs 2,050-2,100 and Ladoo Rs 2,250- 2,350.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,125-2,200 and dhayya Rs 2,200-2,250.
