Chandigarh, Apr 23 (PTI) The Haryana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) for setting up a biomethenation plant in Faridabad.

The minister said it is a unique initiative of the state government and IOC towards making Faridabad a clean and smart city.

The project, which will be set up by IOC at a cost of Rs 3 crore through Corporate Social Responsibility fund, would be completed by March 2019. Land for this project has been made available by HSVP.
