Chennai, Sep 17 (PTI) Opting to bat, India made a competitive 281 for seven against Australia in the first One- day International of the five-match series here today.
Hardik Pandya topscored for India with a 66-ball 83, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni made 79 off 88 balls.
Nathan Coulter-Nile picked up three wickets giving away 44 runs for Australia.
