Jaipur, Dec 6 (PTI) Many parts of Rajasthan received

light rains even as the minimum temperature dropped across

the state today.

People in the state capital also woke up to a cool breeze

and cloudy sky, a MeT official said.

According to the MeT department, the maximum temperature

plummeted by five to six degree Celsius in Kota-Udaipur

divisions, two to three degree Celsius in Ajmer-Jaipur

divisions and one to two degree Celsius in Bikaner and

Jodhpur divisions respectively.

Till 8:30 am, Mount Abu recorded 14 mm rainfall followed

by 6 mm in Chittorgarh, 5.4 mm in Kota, 3 mm in Bundi and

Swai Madhopur, 2 mm in Sawai Dam-Eranpura road, 1.1 mm in

Banasthali and 1 mm rainfall was recorded in Tonk.

The minimum temperature settled at 5.4 degree Celsius in

Sri Ganganagar, 8 in Bikaner, 8.4 in Mount Abu, 9.5 in

Jaisalmer, 10 in Churu, 10.8 in Pilani, 11 in Sikar and

Eranpura road, 12.7 in Banasthali whereas temperature in

other places was recorded between 13.2 and 16.2 degrees

Celsius.

The MeT department has predicted further dip in minimum

temperature in the next 24 hours.
