Jaipur, Apr 6 (PTI) Light to moderate rains, triggered by western disturbance, lashed parts of Rajasthan, where Pilani recorded the maximum of 89 mm rain today.
Churu also recorded traces of rain during this period, according to the Meteorological (MeT) Department here.
Light rains with thunderstorm occurred at few places in Bikaner and very light rains were observed at isolated areas in the Jaipur division since yesterday.
The change in weather brought down the day temperatures by a few degrees in the state, where Jaisalmer was the hottest place at 40.3 degree Celsius, followed by Barmer at 39.6 degrees Celsius.
The weather conditions are likely to remain same during the next 24 hours with a possibility of thunderstorm accompanied by hailstorm at isolated places.
