Mumbai, Apr 9 (PTI) Nickel declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists’ selling amidst lower demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, lead and brass utensils scrap eased owing to subdued demand from consuming industries.
While, copper and brass sheet cuttings gained due to good demand from industrial users.
Nickel fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 895 from last Saturday’s closing level of Rs 905.
Lead edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 166 as against Rs 168 and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg to Rs 336.
However, copper sheet cuttings rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 435 from Rs 431, previously.
Copper utensils scrap, brass sheet cuttings and zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 413, Rs 353 and Rs 242 as compared Rs 411, Rs 351 and Rs 240, respectively.
Copper scrap heavy and copper utensils inched up per kg each to Rs 445 and Rs 437.
