New Delhi, Apr 12 (PTI) Refined soya oil prices eased further by 27 per cent to Rs 775.45 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators engaged in reducing holdings, tracking a weak trend at spot market on easing demand.
Besides, ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions weighed on prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May declined by Rs 2.10, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 775.45 per 10 kg with an open interest of 53,660 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in April shed Rs 1.50, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 769.10 per 10 kg in 24,360 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants owing to slackened demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts, kept refined soya oil prices lower at futures trade.
