New Delhi, Apr 10 (PTI) Refined soya oil prices fell further by 0.71 per cent to Rs 781.25 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators engaged in trimming holdings, driven by ample stocks on increased supplies from producing regions at spot market against subdued demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May drifted down by Rs 5.55, or 0.71 per cent to Rs 781.25 per 10 kg with an open interest of 10,860 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in April was trading lower by Rs 2.20, or 0.28 per cent to Rs 777.30 per 10 kg in 42,250 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants due to sluggish demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts, kept pressure on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
