Mumbai, Apr 2 (PTI) Indian Hotels Company said Rahul Pandit, the managing director and chief executive of its subsidiary Roots Corporation that owns and manages the Ginger brand of hotels, resigned with immediate effective today due to personal reasons.

Pandit has been with the company for around three years, the company said in a statement.

Puneet Chhatwal, managing director and chief executive of IHCL and chairman of Roots Corporation said, during Pandit’s tenure, Ginger expanded its portfolio in line with the group’s growth strategy while achieving its highest customer satisfaction ratings .

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries operates 144 hotels globally across four continents, 11 countries and 72 locations.


Ketan Patel of Kotak Bank joins Cashe as CEO Fintech company Aeries Financial Technologies today said it has appointment Ketan Patel as the executive director and CEO of CASHe, a digital lending company.

Prior to this, he was with Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he was heading composite business solutions and e-commerce vertical.

In his new role, Patel will focus on accelerating the company’s organic growth momentum, the company said in a release today. Patel has also been appointed as the managing director of Bhanix Finance & Investment, the NBFC arm of the company.
