Mumbai, Nov 14 (PTI) South African Tourism today announced the appointment of Hanneli Slabber as Regional General Manager Asia Australia Middle East and Alpa Jani as the acting hub-head MEISEA.
Slabber held the reins at South African Tourism’s India office for the past seven years and will continue to guide and influence its operations going ahead, a release issued here said.
Jani had served as the Trade Relations Manager at South African Tourism’s Mumbai office for seven years.

Global insurance company AXA today announced the appointment of Gordon Watson as the Chief Executive Officer of Asia, which includes Japan, and a Member of the Management Committee of the AXA Group.
He will assume the role on January 1, 2018 and will report to Thomas Buberl, Chief Executive Officer of AXA.
“I would like to welcome Watson to AXA and look forward to working with him to expand our Asian Markets business, a key growth generator for the AXA Group. Watson is an experienced and energetic leader who has a strong track record of delivering results,” Buberl said.
