Mumbai, Apr 2 (PTI) Private life insurer SBI Life Insurance has appointed Sanjeev Nautiyal as its new managing director and chief executive, replacing Arijit Basu who moves back to parent SBI Group to take up a key role.
Nautiyal began his career with State Bank in 1985 as a probationary officer in the Lucknow circle and has since then held various roles in fields like credit, HR, and international banking.
He headed the Bahrain branch and was also the regional head of the Middle East operations of SBI from Bahrain.
Nautiyal, a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, moves to SBI Life from SBI’s Ahmedabad circle where was the chief general manager.
SBI Life, set up in 2001, is a joint venture between State Bank and BNP Paribas Cardif and is one of the leading life insurers offering a comprehensive range of life insurance and pension products.
SBI Life had an AUM of Rs 1,11,630 crore as of December 2017.
MEP Infra bags Rs 1,182.87 crore HAM project in Maha MEP Infrastructure Developers, along with its joint venture partner Long Jian Road & Bridge Company, bagged a contract from the NHAI under worth Rs 1,182.87 crore for a road project under the hybrid annuity model in Maharashtra.
The scope of the project includes eight laning of Vadape to Thane section on National Highway NH-848 in Maharashtra, the company said in a statement issued here.
“With this project win, MEP Infra now commands a significant market share in the hybrid annuity space and is one of the largest players with a basket of 10 projects in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat aggregating Rs 7,942 crore covering 1,893 lane kms,” the company said.
The project is expected to be completed in 910 days and the concession period is of 15 years. PTI PSK ******************
RInfra-CAI JV bags Rs 441 cr contract
Reliance Infrastructure along with its joint venture partner Ukraine-based CAI, has won a turnkey contract worth for Rs 441 crore from the Union roads ministry for the rehabilitation and upgrading of National Highway 66 in Maharashtra.
The scope of the contract includes execution of three by three lane twin tunnels of total length 3.44 km and construction of highway with paved shoulders and viaducts for a length of 7.2 km, the company said today.
Commissioned under National Highway Development Programme (NHDP) IV of the ministry, the project is to be completed in 30 months.
Thereafter, Reliance JV will operate and maintain the project for 48 months, it said.
