Mumbai, Apr 12 (PTI) Select base metals including copper, brass, tin and nickel gained further at the non-ferrous metal markets here today following stockists’ buying amid rising demand from industrial users.

Zinc and lead slipped due to sluggish demand from alloy industries.

Nickel rose by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 930 from Wednesday’s closing level of Rs 915 and tin moved up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,445 as against Rs 1,440.

Brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cuttings edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 339 and Rs 354 from Rs 337 and Rs 352, yesterday.

Copper armiture inched up per kg to Rs 445.

However, zinc moved down by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 234 as compared Rs 240 and lead edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 165 as against Rs 167.
