New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Select bold grains prices firmed up by up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by consuming industries.

Traders said increased offtake by consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up select bold grain prices.

In the national capital, jowar yellow and white rose by Rs 1,600-1,650 and Rs 2,850-2,950 per quintal, respectively.

Maize and barley also went up by Rs 20 and Rs 15 to Rs 1,470-1,475 and Rs 1,490-1,500 per quintal, respectively.
