Chennai, Mar 21 (PTI) Rainfall occurred at a few places

over Kerala, at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, South

interior Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Dry weather

prevailed over Lakshadweep, North interior Karnataka and

Coastal Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres:

TAMIL NADU: Kodumudi (Erode Dist) 7, K.paramathi (Karur

Dist), Ambasamudram (Tirunelveli Dist), Kangeyam (Tiruppur

Dist), Sankaridurg (Salem Dist) 3 each, Coonoor PTO

(Nilgiris Dist), Ketti (Nilgiris Dist), Kothagiri (Nilgiris

Dist) 2 each, Coonoor (Nilgiris Dist), Naduvattam (Nilgiris

Dist), Thalavadi (Erode Dist), Sankarankoil (Tirunelveli

Dist), K Bridge (Nilgiris Dist) 1 each.

KERALA: Parambikulam (Palakkad dt), Kozha (Kottayam dt) &

Thodupuzha (Idukki dt) 2 each and Punalur (Kollam dt), Munnar

& Myladumpara Agri (both in Idukki dt) & Konni (Pathanamthitta

dt) 1 each.

ANDHRA PRADESH: Marripudi (Prakasam dist) 3, Arogyavaram

(Chittoor dist) 3, Palasamudram (Chittoor dist) 2

Cheepurupalle (Vizianagaram dist) 1.

TELANGANA: Julurpad (Khammam dist) 1.

KARNATAKA: Nanjanagud (Mysuru district) 4, Chamarajanagar

PTO (Chamarajanagar district) 1.
