Mumbai, Mar 21 (PTI) Tin and zinc prices gained further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists’ buying amid sustained demand from alloy industries.
However, select copper, lead and brass sheet cutting prices declined further owing to subdued offtake from consuming industries.
Tin climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,500 from Monday’s closing level of Rs 1,490.
Zinc moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 233 from Rs 231.
However, lead, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar dipped by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 153, Rs 403 and Rs 431 as against Rs 149, Rs 407 and Rs 435, previously.
Copper sheet cutting dropped by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 384 compared to Rs 387 yesterday.
Copper armiture moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 391 from Rs 393.
Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 397, Rs 363 and Rs 320, respectively.
