Mumbai, Mar 28 (PTI) Tin and nickel prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockists’ selling amidst subdued demand from alloy industries.
While, copper and brass prices gained further due to sustained offtake from consumer industries.
Nickel fell by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 885 from Tuesday’s closing level of Rs 905.
Tin eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 1,425 from Rs 1,427.
However, brass sheet cutting rose by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 350 as compared to Rs 347 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper billets and brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 450, Rs 442, Rs 415, Rs 478 and Rs 336 against Rs 448, Rs 440, Rs 413, Rs 476 and Rs 347, respectively.
Copper sheet cutting inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 432.
