New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) Wheat prices eased further by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills against sufficient stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts.
Traders said said besides easing demand from flour mills, adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly kept wheat prices lower.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) shed Rs 10 to 1,780-1,785 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 1,790-1,795 per 90 kg.
Atta flour mills and maize also slipped to Rs 960-970 and Rs 990-1,000 from previous levels of Rs 980-990 and Rs 1,000-1010 per 50 kg respectively.
