New Delhi, Apr 9 (PTI) Wheat prices drifted lower by Rs 10 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale grains market today on adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions against subdued demand.
Traders said ample stocks position following increased arrivals from growing regions against reduced offtake by flour mills, mainly led to decline in wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) fell by Rs 10 to Rs 1,760-1,765 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 1,770-1,775 per 90 kg.
