New Delhi, Apr 5 (PTI) Wheat prices edged higher by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by flour mills amid pause in arrivals.

However, other grains held steady in thin trade.

Traders said besides uptick in demand from flour mills, fall in supplies from growing regions, mainly led to rise in wheat prices.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) advanced by Rs 10 to Rs 1,770-1,775 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 1,780-1,785 per 90 kg.
