Night temperatures were markedly below normal in some

parts of Odisha and of south interior Karnataka; appreciably
below normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Madhya
Maharashtra, Vidarbha and of Telangana and in remaining parts
of south interior Karnataka and were below normal in some
parts of east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, Chhattisgarh,
Tamil Nadu and of north interior Karnataka and in remaining
parts of Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and of
Telangana. They were markedly above normal in some parts of
Bihar, Himachal Pradesh and of west Rajasthan; appreciably
above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and
Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and of east
Rajasthan and in remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and of
west Rajasthan and were above normal in some parts of
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal
and of Uttarakhand and in remaining parts of Bihar, Uttar
Pradesh, west Rajasthan and of west Madhya Pradesh. They were
normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum
temperature recorded was 7.7 C at Ahmednagar (Madhya
Maharashtra).
Dense fog (visibility . 200m) occurred over Bhagalpur
(Bihar), Varanasi & Luknow (east Uttar Pradesh), New Delhi /
Palam (Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi) and Gwalior (west Madhya
Pradesh) and shallow to moderate fog (visibility . 500m)
occurred over Kailashahar (Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura),
Bhubaneshwar (Odisha), Ranchi (Jharkhand), New Delhi /
Safdarjung (Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi), Patiala, Ludhiana
and Amritsar (Punjab) and Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) in the
