Mumbai, May 23: A video of police thrashing a couple inside police station of Mumbai is going viral on social media. However there is no much information is available about the video, but it is reported that the incident took place inside Kandivali Police station when the couple arrived to register a case.

According to the report of ANI, the victim couple had gone to Kandivali police station to register a case. Police refused to register the case and started beating them. In the video, cops are seen thrashing the couple with bamboo sticks. An inspector is seen slapping and beating with sticks to a man. The entire incident happened inside the police station. “Investigation is under-way in the case. Similar incident took place in November last year, when a young couple was abused and thrashed inside Andhir Police station. This is yet another instance where the Mumbai cops have come under the scanner for their brutality. Earlier, two Muslim youth were told to go to Pakistan by a police constable inside the Bandra police station before being brutally assaulted in custody.
