New Delhi, Aug 13 : Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj will be travelling to Singapore from August 15 to 17 as part of the 50 year anniversary of the India-Singapore diplomatic relations.

Syed Akbaruddin, spokesperson to the Ministry of External Affairs, at a press conference today announced that Swaraj will meet the Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and will interact with eminent leaders and think tanks of the country. She is also scheduled to interact with the Indian community there.

Swaraj will also seek Singapore ‘s cooperation in Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Smart-Cities’ project and seek their help in the rejuvenation of Indian cities.
