New Delhi, December 11: Since last two-years speculations about 7th Pay Commission has made to news multiple times, especially if increasing the minimum pay for the central government employees. The government will not go ahead with 8th Pay Commission to surface next year, instead, the responsibility of reviewing and handling the salaries of all the CG employees is now going to land in the task bucket of Department of Expenditures. The concern among all the current employees of India is the increment of the minimum pay as recommended by 7th Pay Commission.

Minimum wage hike might be the last 7th Pay Commission Act

After ending the Pay Commission, the government is rationally deciding to end this ongoing system of CPC at 7th Pay Commission. The increment in the minimum pay salary and the Fitment Factor will be the last recommendation of 7th Pay Commission.

The fluctuation in the decision of Narendra Modi government regarding the minimum pay hike has also put every central government employees into a fix. The government has rejected to further increase the minimum wage of central government employees.

Since last couple of weeks, the government has also gone silent after proclaiming that there is not any alteration to the existing pay cycle in the government. The disappointment of pensioners and employees including defence personnel is inflicting clearly as they have started calling for an indefinite strike.

Around 48 lakh government employees and 52 lakh pensioners are waiting for last 18 months in a row for the final decision on the 7th pay Commission’s recommendation of the minimum pay hike.

The news has also seeded impatience among government employees and the threat of a nationwide strike. Although the final decision on the minimum wage has not been officially announced, sources confirmed that the governments is altogether working in a different direction.

Meanwhile, it can be said that there is a minimum chance of evidencing the minimum pay hike that is recommended by 7th Pay Commission.
