New Delhi, July 16: Right after the Mumbai Police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Tanmay Bhat- the co-founder of All India Bakchod (AIB) for posting a meme showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and Trinamool Congress MP Derek O’ Brien posted pictures using the Snapchat dog-face-filter.

Tharoor was poked by Twitter users for defending the freedom of expression of AIB, but unfazed Tharoor took the controversy to another level and tweeted, “Attn all trolls: I took the #DogFilter challenge! @AllIndiaBakchod”. He even posted a picture of himself along with the dog-filter on Twitter.

The same was done by TMC’s Derek O’Brien who took to Instagram to post his dog-filtered photo. The Bournvita quiz contest host captioned his pic as:” It’s the weekend. Time for a little bit of fun.” Also Read: AIB in Trouble Again: Top Controversies of All India Bakchod from Snapchat Dog Filter on PM Modi Doppelganger to Infamous Roast

This was in reply to a Twitter user who had asked O’Brien and Tharoor to be a “sport” and don the “dog-face”.

On Friday, the Mumbai Police Cyber Cell filed a FIR against the co-founder of AIB for making fun of PM Modi. His tweet had a  ‘dog-filter’ed photo of the PM with a caption #Wanderlust, adding “Dog filter is lyf.”(sic). Seeing this post of Bhat, which was later deleted, the angered fans of Modi took offence. As per ANI, one of the Twitter user Reetesh Maheshwar tagged Mumbai Police demanding strict action against the AIB team for such a disgraceful joke against the PM of the nation.
