Bhopal, Sep 16: Three girls, aged between two to seven years, burnt to death in an attempt to save their 30-year-old mother from committing suicide in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The incident was reported on Friday, September 15. The kids rushed to save their mother when she tried to set herself on fire at their residence.

Their mother, Rani Lodhi, has suffered 70 per cent burns. She was rushed to a Jabalpur hospital and is currently battling for her life. The children – two-year-old Tulsa, five-year-old Muskan, and seven-year-old Mansi – were taken to a government hospital, a few metres from Mousipura village where the family lived. They were declared dead within minutes of the incident.

According to the reports, the woman told the police that she tried to commit suicide as she couldn’t bear her chronic stomach pain. However, the police are suspecting a family feud behind the attempted suicide.
