Bihar Chief Minister extends Vishwakarma Puja greetings

Patna, Sep 17 :  Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today extended ‘Vishwakarma Puja‘ greetings to the people of the state. Manjhi also prayed in front of an idol of ‘Vishwakarma’ on the occasion and sought peace and prosperity for the state. Calling everybody to celebrate the occasion with mutual love, respect and communal harmony, Manjhi said, “Technical skills play an important role in the development of country.””We are continuously progressing due to the contributions of engineers and skilled workers.”

Vishwakarma is worshipped in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Tripura and Karnataka. The worship is done mainly by skilled labourers, factory workers, technical hands, artisans and craftsmen. Common people clean the machineries of daily use and pray on the occasion.
