Mumbai, Feb 20: Polling for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the richest municipal corporation in the country, will be held on February 21. A total of 2275 candidates will be contesting in 227 wards of the city. Ahead of the polling, voter list of BMC elections has been uploaded by the State Election Commission and the ward and voter list is also available at the official website of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

To check your name in the voter’s list, visit the website ceo.maharashtra.gov.in and then click on ‘Electoral Search Engine’ which is to the left of the page. Follow the steps and check your name in the voter’s list.

You can also visit BMC website www.mcgm.gov.in and then click on the election department tab to the left of the page. Click on the voter list tab and then click on the electoral ward number and search the voter ID number.

There are also other ways of finding your name, booth wards and other details. Click on OperationBlackDot.in and add your district name. You can find all the details just by using your voter id details or your name.

Shiv Sena, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Congress, Samajwadi Party and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are the key parties contesting Mumbai civic elections.

Results of BMC elections will be declared on February 23.
