Raipur, November 11: Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh’s daughter-in-law on Saturday morning delivered a baby girl a the Government Ambedkar Hospital.

On Friday night, Singh’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Singh was admitted to the Ambedkar hospital while a team of doctors handled the delivery case.

According to Times of India, Raman Singh’s son Abhishek Singh, a parliamentarian from Rajnandgaon admitted his wife Aishwarya at Ambedkar hospital.

On social media, the family of chief minister choosing a government hospital for delivery became a subject for discussion, wherein most of the people hailed it saying that it will further help repose people faith in government hospitals, particularly at a time when people are increasingly preferring private hospitals for medical services.

According to a report, the baby girl’s birth took place around 9 am in the morning and the child weighs around 3 kg. The mother and child have been kept under observation at the Intensive Care Unit.
