New Delhi, September 17: Congress leader and former Union minister Manish Tewari raked up a controversy when he used an abusive word for Bhakts in a tweet, attracting the ire of Twitteratti who said that it did not suit a former minister to use such language.

Replying to a tweet by a Twitter user, Manish Tewari said: “Is Se Khate Hain C******n Ko Bhakt Bana Na or Bhakton Ko Permanent C****a Bana Na -Jai Ho. Even Mahatma can not teach MODI Deshbhakti.”

The leader apparently lost cool when a Twitter user said: “Don’t teach patriotism to Modi as it is in his DNA. Not even Mahatma Gandhi can teach him patriotism. How low can you stoop.”

Meanwhile, Twitteratti has not taken his comment lightly as they expressed their displeasure.

“& you were our former I&B minister. Wonderful language used as a former minister,” a Twitter user replied.

“Itna frustrated hai Yeh log ki language pe control hi nahi hai,” said another.

Recently, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh had also stirred a controversy when he used an abusive word.
