New Delhi, Jan 13: A 15-year-old intellectually disabled girl was allegedly gangraped by six men in east Delhi’s Mandawali area. A report also says that the accused forcefully fed her alcohol. The incident took place on January 8, but came to light on Friday. Meanwhile, the police, on the basis of her complaint, have arrested all the accused.

The minor is admitted to Lady Hardinge Hospital and is being treated for low IQ level. It was only after she went for treatment that she revealed the incident to her doctors. (ALSO READ – Six, Including Five Minors, Gangrape 8-year-old Girl in Pune; One Arrested)

In her complaint to the police, the victim told that she was talking a walk outside her house when one of the accused lured her to a nearby park on the pretext of offering her food. “He offered her drinks and took her to the guard’s room where five of his friends joined him,” a police official was quoted as saying in a PTI report.

On the basis of the girl’s complaint, police arrested the main accused and on his instance, the other five were also nabbed from the same locality. One of the accused is claiming to be a juvenile and police are verifying his claims.

In another incident, a 23-year-old man has been arrested on charged of raping a 17-year-old girl at a guest house on January 10 in northwest Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar area.

Reportedly, the victim met the accused on social media and became friends. According to police, the two of them met after which the accused invited her to the guest house. He then made the victim consume alcohol and forced himself on her.
