New Delhi, June 20: Over 20,000 litres of petrol spilled on the roads of Dehi after a tanker overturned early on Tuesday morning. The tanker overturned at the Moolchand Underpass, which is a busy area. Reports say that at least two people – the driver and the helper of the tanker – have been injured.
Meanwhile, the traffic movement has been affected at the Moolchand Underpass. People have been advised to avoid the road as the police are on the spot and operations to clean up the oil spill are on. Those commuting from Lajpat Nagar to Defence Colony are reported to have been facing issues due to the petrol spill accident.
Traffic snarls are even bigger considering the overnight rains in Delhi. More details on the incident are awaited as the police made efforts to clear the road.
