New Delhi, Apr 17: On the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), advisor to Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has been removed along with eight other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ministers, news agency ANI reported. According to the reports, no permission had been given for the posts of advisors to the Delhi ministers.
The sacked advisors to the Delhi government ministers include Raghav Chadha and Atishi Marlena. While Chadha was an advisor to the Finance Minister of Delhi, Marlena advised the Education ministry.
Interestingly, Chadha, who has been removed as an advisor to Delhi minister, said that his appointment ended on March 31, 2016, so what exactly the Home ministry is sacking him from?
“Where exactly is the MHA sacking me from? Here are the terms of appointment for those who wish to see. Thanks,” he wrote on Twitter. Chadha, as per the document he provided through his Twitter account as a proof, read that he was hired as an advisor to the Finance Ministry on January 15 till March 31, 2016, at a token honorarium of Re 1 per month.
Chadha further said, “Impressive diversionary tactics by the MHA, at the behest of BJP. To divert attention from spate of rapes, cash crunch etc. an opportune time to rake up non issues with AAP like retrospective sacking for a post I held for 45days in 2016 for a paltry sum of Rs.2.50/-.”
