Graft case registered against 3 officials in Srinagar
A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was today registered against three officials of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) in connection with illegal construction of a commercial complex here.
Srinagar, May 25: A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was today registered against three officials of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) in connection with illegal construction of a commercial complex here.
A spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir State Vigilance Organisation said the case was registered after a surprise check conducted by a team of sleuths of the construction site at Manderbagh.(ALSO READ:State Vigilance Commission awaits disposal of 8,935 complaints with J&K govt).
He said the team found that 2340 square feet plinth area was illegally raised by Saleema of Manderbagh without following building norms and without proper permission from concerned municipal authorities.
