New Delhi, Oct 6: Jailed Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan alias Priyanka Taneja has revealed that she stayed in Delhi and Rajasthan during her 38-days-long disappearance. Honeypreet made the revelation a day after Haryana police said that she was not cooperation and the police will seek further remand. The police had also said that they will seek permission for her lie-detector test.

Meanwhile, Panchkula police commissioner said that the authorities have no information on Aditya Insan crossing the border of the country.

Panchkula police had taken Honeypreet to Bathinda on Thursday, where she was questioned for hours at a house where she allegedly stayed. She said she didn’t remember whether she came there or not.

Panchkula police said that Honeypreet was the main handler of cash at Dera and that she had sanctioned Rs 1.25 crore for the supporters ahead of the day of judgement. Commissioner AS Chawla said that the recovery of Rs 24 lakh from a dera follower indicated that the money was sanctioned by Honeypreet.

Media reports said that Honeypreet chaired a meeting on August 17. It was decided in the meeting that Gurmeet Ram Rahim would deliver a speech in Sirsa if the CBI court pronounced him innocent. If the judge held him guilty, the Dera supporters would resort to violence.

41 people had died in violence in Sirsa and Panchkula after a special CBI court held Gurmeet Ram Rahim guilty of raping two women in Dera Sachcha Sauda. The court later handed him a jail sentence for 20 years.
