Gurugram, Sep 14: A group of hackers, who call themselves Kerala Cyber Warriors or GHO57_R007, on Wednesday hacked four websites linked to Ryan International group and replaced their homepages with a tribute to the 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur. Pradyuman Thakur was found with his throat slit at Ryan International School, Gurgaon. The homepage had a dark background and Pradyuman’s picture with a text “Tribute to Pradyuman Thakur”. Another message read: “You may be gone. But you will never be forgotten”.
The hackers criticised the school management and demanded justice for the murdered kid due to the “negligence of the school”. “Citizens of India demands (sic) justice for the innocent soul Pradyuman Thakur, who lost his life due to your security negligence,” the message on the homepage of the website read. (sic) What security and safety measures are you providing in your school??” the message read further. “Education is not a business.” The message ended with a warning: “We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”
The hackers also criticised security lapses such as failing to check the background of the employees before hiring them, non-functioning CCTV cameras and allowing others to share students’ toilets. The hackers’ group hacked four websites. However, it is not known for how long the websites were taken down.
The website was hacked the same day when the Bombay High Court granted relief to the founder of the Ryan International School, Augustine Francis Pinto and his wife Grace Pinto, the managing director of the Ryan International Group of Institutions in connection with the murder of Thakur.
Pradyuman Thakur was found murdered inside his school in Gurugram on September 8. Accoridng to the police seven-year-old Pradyuman had seen the accused bus conductor masturbating in the washroom. Two other students had also seen the conductor, Ashok Kumar, inside the washroom before the murder took place. The students had gone to the washroom to change their Karate uniform.
