Ahmedabad, Aug 27: Hardik Patel, who seems to be spearheading the Patel community agitation, on Thursday alleged that if ex-gratia isn’t given to the victims of the violence here, farmers will be asked to stop supplying basic commodities. “If ex-gratia isn’t given to victims, we will ask farmers to stop supplying milk, vegetables, water etc.,” Patel told ANI. He added: “Children and women were hurt. So, the police officers responsible for this should be suspended.” Launching an attack at the government for not taking any action, he said: “I don’t think they have any power. They should give some answers.” He further added that their peaceful protest will continue but they will not tolerate violence.
