Chennai, September 15: Tamil actor Kamal Haasan on Friday evening yet again showed interest in entering the political arena by saying he would work with Rajinikanth if the latter steps into the political field. ” There are questions whether I will join hands with Rajinikanth in politics. If Rajini enters politics I’ll join hands with him,” said Haasan.
Speculations of Rajnikanth joining politics has been growing ever since he proclaimed that he isn’t interested in politics but if God wants him to start his second innings then he will look into it without any option. “I will not enter politics in haste,” Haasan further added at an event in Chennai this evening.
Earlier this morning, 62-year-old Haasan vent out his rage on Twitter against the MLAs of TTV Dhinakaran’s faction who are lodged in a resort in Karnataka. He wrote,” The honourable court warns teachers on strike. I beseech the court to issue similar warnings to those MLAs who desist from attending work.”
Without naming the ruling party of Tamil Nadu-AIADMK, the Tamil superstar penned,” No work no pay only for Govt. Employees?. How about horse trading politicians languishing in resorts?”
Earlier, the Vishwaroopam actor after meeting Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan at his official residence in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala had clearly hinted that if he ever joins politics then he wouldn’t join BJP as saffron is not his colour. The veteran actor even went on to say that he will be meeting more political leaders before he makes a final call.
Just recently, in an interview with The Quint, the respected actor had stated that he is thinking of launching his own political outfit, adding,” I want to bring change in my state (Tamil Nadu), no matter how slow it is.”
The actor also indicated that he wants to see a non-corrupt government. ” If I enter politics, either I will go or the corruption goes out,” Haasan had said.
